Sphere Diamond Bit (5.0 mm) – Cuticle Removal in Dry Technique and Delicate Finishing The transition to a completely hardware manicure (without the use of scissors or nippers) requires tools that offer absolute safety and a porcelain finish. The YAS Sphere Diamond Bit, with a generous diameter of 5.0 mm and fine abrasiveness, is specially designed to mechanically cut and buff the cuticle band, offering a premium, 100% painless experience, ideal for clients with extremely sensitive skin. Technical Specifications & Advantages in the Salon: Spherical Shape (Generous Diameter of 5.0 mm): The large size of the sphere provides an extended contact surface, evenly distributing the friction force. This diameter prevents accidental "digging" into the skin or nail plate, making it one of the safest tools in a technician's kit. Fine Abrasiveness (Polishing Effect): The fine diamond grit is extremely gentle. It does not tear or catch the tissue, but gradually exfoliates it, turning dead skin into fine dust. It is the perfect solution for clients with thin, vascularized skin or skin prone to irritation. Mastering the Dry Technique (Hardware): This is the tool that replaces classic cutting. After lifting the cuticle with a flame bit, the 5.0 mm sphere rolls on the surface of the eponychium, cutting ("erasing") the cuticle band through a precise mechanical exfoliation. Lateral Folds Finishing: In addition to cuticle removal, it is excellent for buffing superficial calluses (keratosis) on the lateral folds and fingertips, leaving the skin soft. Durability and Hygiene: Made of high-quality stainless steel, with a durable diamond coating, the bit withstands daily cycles of chemical disinfection and thermal sterilization (dry heat sterilizer/autoclave). Pro Tip for Technicians: Set the e-file machine to a low to medium speed (5,000 - 10,000 RPM). The secret of the Dry technique with the 5.0 mm sphere is the lack of pressure. Work with light "erasing" movements, rolling the sphere along the lifted cuticle band. To obtain the spectacular "Photoshop" effect (perfectly polished skin), apply a drop of cuticle oil at the end and pass the sphere over the folds again at a very low speed (approx. 5,000 RPM). The result will be glowing and perfectly hydrated skin, ready for photos.
