Supreme 1 Professional Scissors – Manual Craftsmanship and High-Precision Cutting In combined manicures, the continuous and clean cutting of the cuticle is the detail that differentiates a good job from an impeccable one. The YAS Supreme 1 Scissors are a high-precision tool designed for perfectionist technicians. Thanks to manual sharpening under a microscope, these scissors guarantee a fluid cut in a single movement, completely eliminating the risk of fraying or "chewing" sensitive tissue. Technical Specifications & Workplace Advantages Manual Processing and Sharpening: Each Supreme 1 pair is manually adjusted and sharpened by specialist artisans. This process ensures perfect blade alignment and extreme sharpness straight out of the box. Note: Due to the individual manual finishing, dimensions may vary by fractions of a millimeter, guaranteeing the uniqueness of each instrument. Short and Thin Blades (~12 mm): The 12 mm blade length is ideal for microscopic control. The extremely fine and slightly curved tips perfectly follow the anatomy of the proximal fold, allowing easy access even into the tightest lateral sinuses without blocking visibility. Compact Size (~85 mm): The total length of approximately 85 mm provides an excellent center of gravity. The tool sits perfectly in the palm, being particularly comfortable for technicians with smaller hands or those who prefer working very close to the cutting area. "Macaroni" Cut: The exceptional sharpness allows for the removal of the cuticle band in a single continuous strip ("macaroni" effect), a mandatory condition for preventing hangnails after a few days. Professional Maintenance (Extended Durability): Made of premium stainless steel, the scissors withstand sterilization in dry heat sterilizers and autoclaves. To maintain fluid movement and prevent friction wear, lubricating the joint (at the screw) after each sterilization cycle is recommended. Pro Tip for Technicians & Maintenance For a clean cut, use only the first third of the blades (the tip) and maintain the scissors at a constant angle of approximately 60–90 degrees relative to the nail, following the cuticle line. The secret to longevity: After removing the scissors from the autoclave/dry heat sterilizer and letting them cool completely, apply a micro-drop of special instrument oil directly to the screw joint. Open and close the blades several times to distribute the oil, then wipe off any excess. This simple step prevents joint rusting and ensures that "soft," effortless movement that prevents hand fatigue.
