Technical Solutions for Common Issues Gel/Polygel Touching the Cuticle: Straight or square brushes are rigid and often push too much material onto the skin. The leaf shape of this brush mimics the natural curvature of the cuticle (eponychium area), allowing the technician to blend the material to the millimeter without touching the skin and avoiding lifting. Brush Marks Left in the Material: Brushes that are too small or thin dig grooves into the polygel. The 10 mm "belly" of this brush covers a large surface area in a single motion, allowing for uniform and flat tapping (pressing) that massively shortens subsequent filing time. Usage and Maintenance (Vital Warning) To extend the life of your brush and prevent fiber damage, follow these vital instructions: For Polygel: Moisten the brush in Slip Solution. Discharge the excess on a dry wipe. Use the "belly" of the brush to press the material and the sharp tip to guide it around the cuticle. For Gel: Do not press down! Hold the brush parallel to the nail, gently guiding the gel on the surface. The thin tip is perfect for pulling material into the apex point or the sides. Correct Cleaning: Never use acetone! Acetone dries and burns synthetic fibers. Clean brush residues (color, glue, or polygel) exclusively with a dedicated Brush Cleaner or a transparent base. Storage (Warning - No Cap!): Since this brush does not have its own protective cap, it is strictly forbidden to leave it out on the table! Even ambient light from a window or the reflection of a UV lamp will polymerize invisible gel residues, hardening the bristles irremediably. After cleaning, smooth the fibers back into the leaf shape and store immediately in a closed, opaque holder (brush case), away from light sources.
