Cleaning and Rinsing: If the disinfectant requires rinsing to avoid leaving chemical residues, wash the file under a stream of water (sterile or distilled water recommended) and gently scrub the surface with a plastic brush to remove hardened dust particles. Drying (Critical Step): Leave the file to dry horizontally in a clean, well-ventilated environment. The minimum drying time is 8 hours! If the core of the file remains wet, it will lose its rigidity.
